Course Overview

Over the recent years, there has been considerable focus placed on the impact of our society on the environment. The environment can be affected in many ways, the most notable are:

  • Contamination of the soil;
  • Contamination of the waterways;
  • The release of chemicals and gases into the atmosphere.

The objective of this course is to introduce the learner to the impact that a workplace can have on the environment and to raise awareness of what can be done by each and every person in caring for and protecting the environment.
